Are you searching for a phenomenal web hosting service for your website? I recently tried Liquid Web and wanted to share my experience — the good and the bad.

Liquid Web Overview

Liquid Web has several different types of hosting available:

• Shared hosting
• VPS hosting
• Dedicated servers
• Cloud hosting
• GPU hosting

They offer WordPress, WooCommerce and Magento solutions. All WordPress packages include automatic updates and a caching plugin for faster page loads.

Performance & Security

Liquid Web performed very well for speed and reliability. Their uptime and speed were both great.

In terms of security, they feature:

• Two-factor login
• Monitoring the server itself
PCI compliance (rare), and HIPAA compliance

This is valuable security for a business site that processes payments, confirmation emails, or customer information.

Pricing & Value

Liquid Web is not the most affordable host option but is reasonably priced, and it doesn't jump significantly after your first month.

• Managed WordPress plans range from $5 - $24/month
• Fair choice for either business sites or e-commerce stores

If you are going beyond a basic site it is reasonable.

Considerations

• Their dashboard is a bit complicated for the beginner
• Their support service quality at times can be inconsistent
• Liquid Web may be too much host for you if you have a very small site or just a personal blog

My Suggestion

I would recommend them if you are looking at any of the following for your site.

• If they get any real traffic
• If you sell products online
• If you require consistent speed and security

If your site is small or have a low budget, you will want cheaper and simpler hosting.

I used this for a medium size site and had no complaints regarding uptime and performance.
