While I usually trust the site to process the information at the time of sale, safely and securely, not every site has it setup properly though. Usually because of ignorance on information to do so.

Cloudflare has been working on providing more ways to help website and online business owners more ways to protect themselves, and their userbase. I would generally lead people to use Cloudflare, if I knew the individual needed it for a project, just to help with general security.
