When Windows Vista was released, I didn't want to upgrade from Windows XP. And now, Windows 11 is the latest Microsoft Windows Operating System, but I still prefer Windows 7. Maybe Microsoft's new OS versions are worse than the previous ones thats why most of us stick with Windows 7.

Firefox, Google Chrome, and many other software have stopped supporting Windows 7.

No, clearly not, although it was one of the best Windows operating systems, I clearly do not use Windows 7 today. It is practically obsolete. There will be many programs and games that will not be compatible, in addition to your PC not working very well, since it will limit your RAM memory. It is not the most advisable, to be honest.

I use in VM for testing purposes. I do have an old PC with Windows 7 and I often use it play retro games and certain custom softwares. For games it supports some recent drivers, but many new games don’t work on it at all. DirectX 12 is supported for some titles, but not all. You can aslo try WineD3D to convert DirectX to OpenGL or DXVK to convert DirectX to Vulkan (if your GPU supports Vulkan) to help run games on Windows 7.
