There are a lot of benefits that come with using either shared hosting or VPS hosting. The Virtual Private Server (VPS) provides you with increased control and resources, which contribute to growing your website, which results in increased traffic to your website. If you are starting and running a small website, it is advisable to go for shared hosting as it requires less technical expertise to handle.

The major difference is that VPS always costs more, but that is not what you get with Shared Hosting that is a bit quick, although it comes with low traffic. Which one do you use now and why?

It depends on your needs. VPS (Virtual Private Server) offers better performance, control, and security with dedicated resources, making it ideal for growing sites or applications. Shared Hosting is more cost-effective and suitable for small websites with moderate traffic, but shares resources with other users, which can impact performance and security.

VPS offers better performance, security, and scalability for growing websites, while shared hosting is more affordable but with limited resources. VPS is ideal for larger needs, shared for smaller sites.

A good VPS (Virtual Private Server) offers reliable performance, enhanced security, and scalability for growing businesses. With dedicated resources, full root access, and SSD storage, it ensures faster speeds and optimal uptime. Ideal for hosting websites, applications, and databases, it’s a cost-effective solution with flexible plans.

Mostly this will come down to technical knowledge and understanding, if you are new to running a website a shared service will be much easier for you to understand and learn without the need to understand how to manage a vps server.

I believe starters should work towards making use of Shared Hosting as it is a better option that helps in saving cost as a beginner in as much as you don't get the full features that comes from using VPS.
