Stay with cPanel or Not?

I use cPanel because I understand it well and even though the alternatives are cheaper, they are not "that much cheaper". Am I mistaken here?

It all depends on the amount of accounts you host and what your using it for, if your selling it as a service it is hard to stay competitive with cPanel when you got DirectAdmin offering unlimited account usage. If your an agency or just managing websites yourself cPanel pricing is perfect.
