I am with Namecheap but iPage was the first web host I signed up with. However, I did not go ahead with iPage because they wanted payment only from paypal account that was linked with bank or card. I was afraid of automatic changes on my bank account or card, so I dropped iPage and went ahead with Namecheap. However, as a webmaster I also help my clients to get hosting and sometimes I suggest them iPage.

Affordable Website Hosting Plans: Is iPage the Right Choice?

iPage offers cheap hosting plans that are attractive for beginners and small websites owners. You even get a free domain, including dot com, if you pay at least one year hosting. However, if you want to use iPage, just don't see their prices, also check their features, uptime, and customer support and find out if they meet your needs. For starting a basic website on a budget, iPage is worth considering.

Namecheap Hosting: Is It Best For Beginners?

You can get a basic shared hosting plan from Namecheap for around $23 for the first year. With this hosting plan, you can host upto websites, thus, making Namecheap one of the bets options for beginners. Namecheap provides hosting packages that include free SSL certificates for the first year, however, after the first year, you will have to buy SSL certificates, they do not offer free certificates like Let's Encrypt. If you do not know how to use free SSL, you might have a website without SSL if you are hosting with Namecheap. Hosting renewal costs is also hundre percent more, so your second year cost will rise.
