Consero Global LLC, a company that helps businesses with finance work, had a data breach. This means that someone hacked their computer system without their permission and maybe stole some data. Now, the law firm, Levi & Korsinsky is reviewing the situation.

What Happened

On July 4, 2025, Consero found out about the incident. However, unknown people were in the system from April 27 to July 4, 2025.

They report unknown people accessed part of their network. The persons accessed personal information may have been stolen.

Accessed data may also included names, social security numbers, and other information of private persons. These are private matters.

Why is it Important

If you are connected to Consero in any capacity, could have your information at a risk.

Consero manages financial and business information, and as such the data they hold is quite sensitive, and must have been able to be used for risks such as identity theft.

What Levi & Korsinsky Is Doing

The law firm is now beginning an investigation to determine:
  • Whether Consero had properly protected the information.
  • The information that was compromised.
  • Whether the individuals affected would have the ability to obtain either monetary restitution, or other formats of relief.
They want to determine if Consero followed every guideline to maintain customer data security.

What Consero Did After the Breach

Consero hired independent cybersecurity personnel to investigate the breach and determine what happened.

They also improved their cybersecurity protocols and system to prevent matter of breach from taking place again.

They are providing credit monitoring and identity protection services at no cost to individuals whose data may have been compromised.

What You Should Do

If you believe that your information was in this breach, you should consider taking the following simple steps:
  • If you received an email, please read the notification letter carefully.
  • Sign up for the free credit monitoring service.
  • Change your passwords for your important accounts.
  • Monitor your bank accounts and credit reports for unusual activity.
• If you feel necessary, you can place a fraud alert on your credit file.

My Simple Advice

No company is immune from a cyber-attack, even a trusted one. If you have any connection to Consero, it is best to take action sooner rather than later. Don't delay. Taking these simple steps now could save you from an issue later on.
