Blesta is a web hosting control panel. It claims that its software is 99.9% open source, with only a few files encrypted. Yesterday, Blesta gave shock to Hosting community by increasing price of their Billing software by 72.67%.

We're adjusting pricing on owned licenses to keep pace with inflation. Since you have an owned license, this only affects the optional annual support and updates fee for your owned license, which will be $62/year, effective January 1, 2026.

While we've made thousands of updates over the years, we haven't kept pace with inflation. This modest adjustment helps us continue investing in Blesta's future, including a completely redesigned, modern admin UI coming in version 6, along with many new features and integrations requested by users.

Blesta old and new pricing in 2026 (lifetime license)

• $750 → $1295: (lifetime license) 72.67% increase.

Blesta owned license

• $250 → $350 (owned branded): 40% increase.
• $300 → $425 (owned unbranded): 41.67% increase.

Blesta monthly license

• 12.95 → 17.95: (monthly branded) 38.61% increase.
• 14.95 → 20.95: (monthly unbranded) 40.13% increase.
